Veljko Popović (*1979 in Split, Croatia) is an animator, director, and producer. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 2004 and co-founded Prime Render Studios. Since 2012, he has taught animation at the Academy of Fine Arts in Split. His films have been screened and awarded at numerous international festivals, including Annecy, Hiroshima, and Animafest Zagreb. Popović is also an active musician and plays the drums.

Prime Render Studios was founded in Split, Croatia, in 2004 and specializes in 2D and 3D graphics and virtual reality projects for games, film, TV, and advertising. With more than 70 international awards, including the Animated Eye Award at Aspen Shortfest and the Jury Award at the Annecy Film Festival, they are among the leading studios, producing numerous award-winning short films and innovative music videos.
